My connection to Hawaii began in 1908 when my British grandfather arrived in Honolulu to work as an interisland sales manager for a food wholesaler. I graduated from Punahou School and earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado. After gaining valuable experience on the mainland for eleven years, I returned to the Islands in 1988, bringing a diverse background in business and grateful to be back home.
